Joining Mrs Hussain for Afternoon Tea on 11th October were:
Olivia 1M, Aiden 2R
Elizabeth 3R, Harsha 4A
Jaiden 4M, Eva 6E
It was encouraging to see children proudly sharing their work with everyone at the tea. Jaiden said he wants to become a Head teacher when he grows up (so, watch this space!)

Glade is proud to have achieved a Gold Award from TfL as part of their STARS programme.
(Sustainable Travel: Active, Responsible, Safe).
We have worked hard to promote safe travel through our annual road safety week, pedestrian skills workshops for year 4, theatre shows for KS1 and KS2 and Bikeability training for EYFS, Year 1, Year 5 and Year 6. Active travel is promoted through our WoW scheme, Bike Week and Walk to School week with prizes given to children who walk, cycle, scoot and park and stride. Additionally, through our Clean Air campaign, we have advocated responsible travel.
This has lead to an incredible increase of 14% in active travel from 2018 to 2019. More of our children are now cycling and scooting to school and car use has reduced by 12% over the past year.
